The article considers the political and economic aspects of the anti-corruption policy of the Russian authorities. As a destructive element, corruption begins to interfere arbitrarily in the implementation of strategic plans, distorting the political and economic space, frustrating the management system and impeding the establishment of national security effectiveness. Corruption primarily affects the country's governance system. The peculiarity of this stage in the fight against corruption is that the Russian authorities set the task of transition to a digital economy, which undoubtedly entails certain changes in the nature of non-normative schemes of illegal enrichment. It is obvious that speculative actions in the implementation of this project can frustrate the planned plans of the Russian authorities to create an advanced management system and become an undesirable burden on the national security system of the 21 century.
