In the article the local network, as a base component of information system is considered. Variants of realization of differentiation of access to network resources are considered, the table for comparison of two various ways is resulted, technology VLAN and its branch – Asymmetric VLAN which works most effectively in economics – is considered and a provisional plan to organize independent subnetworks in one physical local network is given.
