An analysis of existing information about spectrometers for analysis of water environment was made, presented a classification of the spectral analysis methods, operating principles, design, advantages and disadvantages of spectrometers are described. A comparative analysis of these spectrometer was made, as a result of which it was established that the acousto-optical spectrometers are the most promising for the information-measuring systems of ecological monitoring of water environment.
