Because of limitations on the time spent in developing designs antenna systems analysis / comparison of all possible design solutions usually cannot be done. In connection with this person who design decision is usually limited only by calculation / comparison of the technical solutions already applied in previous developments. Availability of software products that perform automated calculation of the basic units of antenna devices can significantly reduce the time spent on the development of structures to optimize the design solutions. This paper discusses the ways of solving the problem of automated selection of the motor for any type of mechanical drive performance. Analyzed the mechanical stresses affecting electromechanical drive antenna devices. Considered the most widely used in the practice of modern design options for transferring mechanical motion from the motor to the rotation of the antenna device. The algorithm of calculation required for the subsequent creation of CAD mechanical drives antenna devices.
