Increase employee efficiency has always been a major management challenge for an effective manager. This fully applies to the teaching staff (TS) of higher educational establishments, which play a crucial role in the formation of intellectual resources of the country. In the Russian Federation today, one of the tools reforming the national system of performance management acts В«collaborative leadership styleВ». This style is, first of all, a set of mutually beneficial working conditions for employees and employers (including universities). Such conditions should be aimed at the introduction of absolute transparency in the field of remuneration; the formation of employees ' loyalty, involvement and job satisfaction. In article outlines the problems and considers particular mechanisms stimulating academic activity of TS by following directions: planning and forecasting work with teachers of higher school; management organization universities TS; motivation and stimulation of TS work, using the material and moral means; control and analysis, using a measure of TS satisfaction of the remuneration system and evaluation customer satisfaction educational services.
