In this article is executed the comparative analysis of directions, conditions and actual data on the activity of the "cattle-breeding" industry in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Astrakhan Region in the conditions of all-round development of information and telecommunication technologies. The authors considered those characteristics of the activity of the cattle-breeding farms connected with their location with regard to cities and towns, transport routes, power supply sources, grazing areas, etc. The role and the directions of the cattle-breeding farms information support are characterized. Relevance of using a cattle-breeding farms management scheme with three hierarchical levels is shown. On the upper hierarchical level economic issues are addressed, including financing of the activity; directions and volumes of the production are being optimized. On the middle hierarchical level - short-term and urgent decisions are made and implemented (including current planning of animal production release in accordance with the types; indicating terms, places and conditions of marketing). On the lower hierarchical level - usage of the automation equipment for technological processes of cattle-breeding farms. Economic feasibility of implementing means of informatization and automation of the cattle-breeding farms activity is analyzed. Objectively existing and subjective limits for these processes in conditions of regulatory and economic circumstances of the cattle-breeding farms activity in Kyrgyzstan and the Astrakhan region are indicated.
