The investigation of magnetooptics and fiber optics for creation of the modern information-measuring systems of magnetic field and electric current control with Faraday component as an optical fibre has been carried out. The advantages of fiber-optic cables as physical media of information transfer are presented. The methods of light wave separation in accordance with their polarization and also developments of the information-measuring systems of magnetic field and electric current systems with the use of the magnetooptical Faraday component are determined.
