Authors are considered the types of activities and situations for which are important estimates of speed and accuracy of human perception of objects temperatures, dynamics of its changes; storing evaluations of temperatures. In article were introduced features of human thermoreceptors work, important for the topic of the article. The possibilities of visual determination by a person of heated bodies temperatures by colors of their illumination are characterized. Authors are analyzed the features of the test-subject's estimates of temperatures for object, based on the detection of infrared radiation coming from them. The possibilities of using software-hardware complexes with power-adjustable heaters for this purpose are shown. At the same time actual temperatures of software-hardware complexes surfaces can be estimated as follows: on the basis of reference curves "heater power - temperature"; direct measurements using contact and/or contactless infra-red thermometers. The main factors influencing subjective persons estimates of air temperature are specified. The importance of studying such estimates is shown, including for controlling air temperatures in internal areas. There are considered versions of software-hardware complexes constructions to carry out studies of air temperatures perception, its humidity, speed of movement, etc. Authors are described methods of studying the perception of liquid temperatures by the testing: in liquid volumes, in streams, for individual droplets; options for building a software-hardware complex for such researchers. In this article have been analyzed the peculiarities of the testing person’s estimates for the temperature of objects by finger tips touch. Factors, affecting such estimates, are indicated, including the thermal conductivity of the objects and fingers themselves, the presence of sweat on finger tips, etc. The authors described design and principles of using experimental software-hardware complex, based on small-size Peltier elements. The temperatures of their surfaces are controlled by the microcontroller and/or the person; they may be set more or less than the temperature of the fingers; negative temperatures can also be set. Based on the use of this software-hardware complex, a number of techniques have been described for investigation the heat-cold sensitivity of the person’s finger tips: their assessment of the presence of temperature differences of Peltier element surfaces; determination of the dynamics of their surfaces temperatures; evaluation of person’s thermal memory characteristics, etc.
