This article gives a coverage to the question of the quality of education and methods of its evaluation. The main issues referred to in this article are: the description of the existing methods of quality evaluation of the education, their introduction in Russian higher educational institutions; selection of the most appropriate model of quality evaluation development in education; the distinguishing of the main processes of educational establishments for the further automotization of the problem under the discussion.
