Features of major terms treatment on a subject of clause from positions of the Russian legislation and practical work of the organizations using office equipment are investigated. From positions of buyers efficiency of warranty packages is considered concerning minimization of down-time periods of office equipment by reason of malfunctions. Kinds of warranty packages (the basic and additional) on office equipment, mechanisms of their practical maintenance are analysed. The mathematical model for a rating of buyers expenses efficiency on warranty packages is constructed.
