Energy survey – is relatively new to Russia, but has already claimed activity that allows you to find reserves of energy conservation and identify ways to improve energy efficiency. According to law, all budgetary and other organizations must undergo a mandatory energy audit. Acute shortage of scientific principles and techniques for conducting energy audits. This paper presents the results of energy audits a number of educational institutions of the Astrakhan region. A method for conducting energy audit of the budget of educational institutions, including analysis of monthly and annual consumption of certain types of energy. The method of determining the structure of energy consumption based on the method of ordered graphs. The main consumer of electricity in rural schools in the Astrakhan region is the lighting system (from 53 to 65 %). It is therefore advisable to start implementing energy efficiency programs and energy efficiency with the introduction of measures to conserve heat.
