The article describes a control system of autonomous educational mobile robot and methods of its usage in educational process. Authors describe a conception of educational process, based on ordinary educational robotic kit and industrial controller for autonomous mobile robot navigation. Thereby it allows to develop a prototypes of different service robots within an educational process, by combining simplicity of robotic kits and functionality of navigation controller. In addition, the article describes how to implement navigation hardware and software complex - namely, the algorithmic software architecture that satisfies the conditions of high reliability and portability to different hardware platforms.
