At the present days economical conditions business evaluation is used not only as a necessary component of a legal transaction, as well as in management decisions is accompanied by a number of problems the characteristic of which is laid out in this article. The compassion of methods of the evaluation which is an essential device of the business evaluation is listed below. The intelligent agent and the process of reasoning with precedents as new instruments of market approach to business evaluation have been under conditions. The differences between the intelligent agent and standard searching system, including I-net system, were analyzed. The article describes the way of agent works. The result of the agent’s work is a database of companies with a defined set of parameters, which then used to start. The structural representation of precedents and algorithms of search are identified. The difference of the proposed approach is the integration of intelligent agent and reasoning with precedents, as well as used of ontology to formalize the diverse knowledge about the companies
