The paper presents a model for assessing the impact of diagnostic signs of cancer on the diagnosis within a specific classification method. Factor loads of features are taken as the basis for determining the level of influence. A comparative analysis of factor models constructed by the methods of principal components, maximum likelihood and least squares is carried out.
Key words: factor analysis, machine learning, consultative and diagnostic systems, breast cancer
