This article shows the relevance of the task of building a psychological profile of a student to form recommendations on the choice of individual educational trajectories. The authors analyzed the applicability of various methods of constructing a psychological profile of a student within the framework of the task. The authors concluded that the most suitable method is V. Ponomorenko's "7 radicals". The comparison of the socio-communicative and cognitive skills identified with the use of this technique with the areas of work allows us to formulate recommendations on the choice of the direction and profile of training more reasonably, as well as to form recommendations on the choice of individual educational trajectories.
