The article defines the features of a corporate-level knowledge base, identifying the specifics of its creation in a manufacturing enterprise. It suggests that a business’s main priority is to minimize the duration of a new system and the complexity of instructing personnel. Subsequently, it shifts focus to cover variants of conversion to a single software product (SSP). In so doing, it relies on preliminary data from previous applications and the concomitant requisite for the integration of these applications into a SSP. The paper is devoted to research on existing industrial processes. For example, it analyzes an entity specializing in the manufacture and sale of glass constructions of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), noting the characteristics of running such an enterprise. The business peculiarities investigated, according to the critique, include the development and sale of products, logistics, and material and technical maintenance. This assessment aims, inter alia, to automate certain steps or the business processes as a whole. Based on the analysis, the blueprint creates a corporate knowledge base for the manufacture of PVC products. Furthermore, it concludes that there is a need for a new method of data integration and a novel approach to already identified business-related processes.
