The paper considers the problem of choosing optimal set of solutions (SS) for two classes of scheduling problems “Project Management” and “definition of total extra-curricular activities in secondary institutions”. The formalization of task formulation for these classes problems for decision-making persons (DMP) is investigated. The mathematical techniques related to the choice of the optimal SS is submitted in detail. It includes a formal “optimality criteria” for different choices of SS in presence of sets for resources constraints and risks. These restrictions may be applied to individual task in the project, the project as a whole, the aggregate of projects. By its nature, limitations may be “barrier” or “soft”. The last option proposed to account using the “penalty function” – by adjusting the “costs” for the implementation of works/projects. . Is shown the expediency of additional accounting in SS models such characteristics in projects (and possibly groups of works in them) as a “margin” and “quality of implementation”. Separately considered SS planning for a group of DMP. It is assumed that each of them manages one or more projects, and above the resources allocated only for individual DMP there resources, available for public usage. In this case, the SS of different DMP are inter-related by resources. In addition they are limited by total risk of SS for all DMP. The authors in detail the considered the technology (algorithmic) of optimal SS selection, including the effectiveness of “parallel” calculations, of branch-and-bound method, genetic algorithms, agent-based technology.
