Creation and development of information and educational environment of educational institutions for conducting of training, scientific researches and management is one of the priority problems of raising of the quality of education in Russia and directions of the national project “Education”. In the conditions of the high demands made to the modern education, and also thanks to the fast development of means of information technologies the role of information and technological maintenance of the educational process is increasing. One of the stages of development of information technologies in education is the implementation and usage of the automation system of the registration of the usage of auditoriums and laboratories of an educational institution that allows to avoid a problem of reset and insufficiency of loading of laboratories, to increase efficiency of monitoring and also to improve management by the educational process on the basis of its usage. In the article the principle of the work of system, its main functions: planning and monitoring employment, reserve, registration in the laboratory schedule, creation of diagrams of employment for teachers, manager of laboratory, charts of use and statistics have been considered. The UML charts «Use case diagram» and «Activity diagram» have been constructed. Indexes which were considered in case of a programming environment choice for system development have been described. Categories of users and their authority are explicitly described.
